Can LAB (Learning After Broadcast) extend to a higher education EFL (English as a Foreign Language) program? At NYIT/NUPT Nanjing, China we are endeavoring to find out. So far we have found PBS materials not only helpful but crucial.
Celebration 2009
The Celebration will be held on March 6th & 7th, 2009. The Celebration begins at approximately 8:00am and ends at around 5:00pm.
Celebration 2009 will feature exciting special guests including Alan Alda (on science), Temple Grandin (on autism), Sir Kenneth Robinson (on creativity) and Eric Schmidt (on technology).
This year’s Celebration of Teaching & Learning is organized around the following central themes or “content strands“: Science, Global Awareness, Math, Instructional Technology, English Language Learners, Literacy, Whole School Policy and Engagement, and Autism Understanding and Integration.
